WWE is an American professional wrestling promotion based out of Stamford, Connecticut. Title reigns are either determined by professional wrestling matches or are awarded to a wrestler, as a result of the culmination of various scripted storylines.

Shinesuke Nakamura is currently signed to WWE, where he performs on the SmackDown brand and is the current United States Champion in his second reign. Prior to his main roster debut, Nakamura competed in WWE’s developmental brand, NXT, where he is one of only two wrestlers to have held the NXT Championship on more than one occasion. In January 2018, Nakamura won the 2018 Men’s Royal Rumble match.

At WWE SmackDown 1000 Nakamura lost to the returning Rey Mysterio in a qualifying match for the WWE World cup at Crown Jewel. Nakamura was successful in back to back title defences, first on the October 30 episode of SmackDown Live against R-Truth and then against Rusev at WWE Crown Jewel.

Asuka is currently signed to WWE, performing on the SmackDown brand under the ring name Asuka` where she is the current SmackDown Women’s Champion in her first reign. In January 2018, she was the inaugural winner of the women’s Royal Rumble match.

It was soon revealed that Asuka would be headed to Raw where she debuted in epic fashion by making Emma tap out at WWE TLC. She followed that up by becoming the sole survivor for Team Raw in the 5-on-5 Women’s Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match. Asuka then made history by winning the first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble Match. She also was one-half of the winning team of Mixed Match Challenge Season 1 alongside The Miz. Daniel Bryan is signed to WWE, where he performs on the SmackDown brand under the ring name Daniel Bryan and is the current WWE Champion in his fourth reign. In WWE, Bryan held the WWE Championship four times and WWE’s World Heavyweight Championship once, in addition to being a one-time United States Champion, a one-time Intercontinental Champion, and a one-time WWE Tag Team Champion.

On March 20, 2018, Bryan was formally cleared to return to in-ring competition and had his in-ring return at WrestleMania 34 on April 8, and regained the WWE Championship for the first time in four years later that November.

4. BUDDY MURPHY

Buddy Murphy, and is the current Cruiserweight Champion in his first reign. Murphy defeated Alexander to win the Cruiserweight Championship, his first singles title in WWE, the first Australian man to accomplish this feat. Murphy subsequently retained the title against Mustafa Ali at Survivor Series and Cedric Alexander at TLC. Murphy is set to defend his title in a fatal four-way match against Akira Tozawa, Kalisto and Hideo Itami on 27 January 2019 at the Royal Rumble. At the event, Murphy pinned Hideo Itami to retain the championship.

Now solely focused on singles competition, Murphy proved he has what it takes to make it on his own when he defeated Cedric Alexander to win the WWE Cruiserweight Championship in 2018.

Ronda  Rousey is currently signed to WWE, performing on the Raw brand, where she is the current Raw Women’s Champion in her first reign. Her longstanding nickname, “Rowdy”, was inherited from late professional wrestler Roddy Piper.

In 2018, Rousey began a career in professional wrestling, signing a contract with WWE. She made her in-ring debut at WrestleMania 34, and won the Raw Women’s Championship, her first WWE and professional wrestling title, at SummerSlam 2018. Rousey was described by Fox Sports as “one of the defining athletes of the 21st century. Ronda is the current wwe female champion in 2018. At SummerSlam 2018, Ronda defeated Alexa Bliss to win the Raw Women’s Championship. Since then, she’s successfully defended her title against all comers, including Sasha Banks, Nia Jax and Nikki Bella.

2. BOBBY LASHLEY

Bobby Lashley is the current Intercontinental Champion in his first reign. On the April 9, 2018 episode of Raw, the night after WrestleMania, Lashley made his return to WWE, where he confronted and attacked Elias.

Lashley won the Intercontinental Championship for the first time in his career, from Dean Ambrose in a triple threat match that also involved Seth Rollins, establishing his first title reign in WWE since June 2007. On January 27 at the Royal Rumble, Lashley entered the Rumble match as the 26th entrant, but was eliminated in thirteen seconds by Rollins, after which Lashley viciously attacked Rollins, and subsequently slammed him through the announce table. Lashley is one of the current 2018 wwe champions.

He is currently signed to WWE, where he performs on the Raw brand and his the current Universal Champion in his second reign in 2018. Possessing the type of staggering strength and frightening intensity seen only among Superman villains, this 6-foot-3, 266-pound freak of nature from Minneapolis, Minn., has forced his way to the top, he won the King of the Ring tournament and beat The Rock to win the WWE Title — becoming the youngest WWE Champion in history of 2018.
